The Primordial Rus (Русь Изначальная) is a movie from 1985. The scenario is taken from a book of the same name, written by Valentin Ivanov. The story takes place in the 6th century. By the order of the Roman imperator Justinian the Khazars attack the northern Slavs. After defeating the aggressor the Slavs decide to present the imperator their truth.
